Creating, Curating, and Crafting MegaZu

“So what exactly was Zuzalu?” I pondered this question at the end of my 2023 blog post. Back then, the fresh memories of the Adriatic seaside still danced in my mind, along with the most intellectually stimulating conversations with some of the smartest people on the planet. I was dazzled, mesmerized, and elated.
To me, Zuzalu isn’t just a pop-up city framework; it’s a set of principles that nurture a healthy, organic, and sustainable community. These principles resonate deeply with me:
In-person connection builds the strongest communities. “Friendship is cultivated over many interactions light and deep. Intimacy is earned through trust.”
World-changing discourse inspires smart people to create world-changing technology.
Authentic and genuine relationships are the bedrock of any community.
There have been many flavors of Zuzalu following the OG version—some focusing on longevity, others taking pride in exploring hidden corners of the world.
For me, the Zuzalu principles have always been synonymous with dreaming big and building something extraordinary. I cannot think of a better time to bring these principles to the Ethereum application builders than now.

Crypto native but still ideating: Our philosophy is to follow the builder, not the project. If we believe in you, we believe you’ll come up with something great, and we’ll be there to support you every step of the way.
Have an idea or already building an app: Lock in for a month with minimal distractions, collaborate and debug with other builders, understand the infrastructure inside out, and maybe even find a cofounder.
The program accepts 50 residents and prioritizes those who can stay for the full month.
